Wee got a little leaflet left out in our canteen today. These were his key points on why wee should vote for him

Addressing the concerns of our retired members.

Addressing the lack of funding in local schools.

Addressing the lack of affordable housing.

Campaigning to defend social welfare and health service.

Campaigning to eradicate zero hour contracts.

Absolutely nothing to do with what's going on in Royal mail. And they wonder why people don't vote.

These elections are important , I realise you will not know most of the candidates and will rely on you’re Branch’s Recommendations.

The NEC/ PEC elected will make huge game changing decisions on behalf of all members on the issues we are facing such as :
The unions position on parcel separation and tracked 1 & 2 being removed from about a thousand delivery offices resulting in huge job losses.

Whether PDA’s , Automated Hours Data Capture and Resource Scheduler being used for resourcing , revision and determining part timers hours is endorsed.

Whether the Shorter Working week is deployed and the strings attached

How we confront the decision of Of Com to bring forward to next year to a review into the viability of the USO moving forward.

What our pay claim will be next April

How we tackle the on going issues of poor culture in to many workplaces.

Less than 10% of staff voted in the National Elections and we must improve this .

We need a strong executive, I am standing for both the NEC/PEC most of you will know me as Dingo and I have been on this site from 2007 and have tried to keep you informed of what is happening.

I am seeking your support in these elections because I believe the NEC/ PEC needs a shake up and our officers need to be challenged on the unions direction and our lack of pace in dealing with issues such as poor culture.

Please vote in these elections !

Thanks

Dingo / Martin Walsh
