Sick pay is for the sick not for the lazy. The op got full pay while he was off will get full pay on rehab,a stage one is nothing but a paper exercise and with his very good record he has no worries . We have great terms and conditions people who abuse them put them at risk so yes shame on you.

By jobsworth do you mean hard working and honest because thats me. My sick record is as good as my health so if i am unlucky enough to be unfit for work like the op was i take time off, if i am fit i work. You on the other hand are boasting about taking time off work when not sick, thats cheating your workmates who may have to absorb your workload as well as putting your job on the line if you are found out.

As you’ve had a heart attack you are now classified as having coronary heart disease like me and you will now come under the auspices of the Equality Act 2010 like me and any absence as a result of your CHD should be discounted so appeal it mate, all the very best for the future.

Where did I say I wasn’t sick , I said I use my sick to the limit for which you called me lazy. I have been in the job nearly 30 years and never triggered a stage . I won’t go into work if I’m not feeling 100 % and I don’t have to .Royal Mail set the guidelines and I abide by them.As for my workmates having to absorb if I’m not there, well that’s rubbish there finishing time doesn’t change whether I’m there or not .
