There is often a disparity between the hours an office needs and asks to be recruited for and what HR or whoever ends up approving and advertising for.
Most offices work different structures due to the lie of the local land so comparing to others on here unfortunately wont be much use either.
As someone else has mentiond, your manager will more than likely ask you to change your hours to fit the offices needs better or ask you to start earlier on overtime.
What ever you do just don't let the job or managers pressure you to work more than your contracted hours for free.
