Nail on head comes to mind! :Applause
Our DO has an excellent DOM and if all of my fellow Postie's were confident enough in the survey process to point out problems I can be sure our DOM would do their best to fix stuff if possible to do. The general impression is that this isn't the case in most other DOs. I possibly know of only one or two other decent DOMs within RM. In particular the comment above about Postie's sent to other offices and finding a better run operation or receiving better treatment is something I have heard a few times before. It may the 'here comes the cavalry effect' - I know our office is very grateful if we are short and help arrives.
You are so lucky to have a decent DOM,and I bet the morale in your office is high, you are the lucky ones!
