How to talk to managers about mental health
Yes sorry your right. Written with anger after having witnessed two co-workers driven out of the job by an ambitious manager and a third being forced to work unpaid OT . All three supposedly covered by the DDA and Equality Act. All three viewed by management as deadwood ,a drain on the budget "oh he's too slow" after years of good service, and not a peep from their colleagues who are just happy the focus is off them{first they came for.....}.BELIAL wrote:

What really baffles me is the psychology required to exploit a clearly ill person at their lowest ebb just to get a bonus or climb the greasy pole, whatever the additional harm inflicted.
So sorry again , and I know all managers are not the same, but this behavior does not occur without oversight so be prepared for a less than ideal response.
Bye

Nice to see the small mindedness of individuals regarding mental health. Do you really think this immature comment is going to help people going through some quite traumatic and challenging times?BELIAL wrote:or a p45
I can imagine you're the sort of individual that Woody was referring too about people who bully him. Harmless "banter" that in fact does hurt that person and makes them feel awful.
Guys, I've messaged you regarding a few places that might be able to help you. Up to you if you want to reply or not.
