MRM you have surpassed yourself with this one!
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

He must book excess, to have SO much time to spend on one parcel is mind blowing.

There is no way (at least it's vanishingly improbable) that in three years and over multiple deliveries he's never had a special or a foreign signed for parcel where the recipient was not in (he'd be unable to leave either of those items with a neighbour). I could just about believe it, those two sorts of parcels excepted, if he was a regular on one delivery that he's done for a while.

It’s either bullshit or he’s just talked himself out of a job. You can’t leave Specials or ‘foreign sign fors’ with a neighbour - something to do with the insurance on the item becomes null and void if left with another address so it could be bye bye fella if RM find he does this.

The only people who fail for the most part are customers if you order something be in or not in the back garden or have your headphones on or cannot be bothered to get out of bed this is why half the stuff goes back to the office. A lot of neighbours will often refuse as they feel they are being used had one guy threaten me for asking if he would take his next door neighbours parcel kind of put's you off asking anybody again!

Wonder if they'll feature me in that publication?

Absolutely ludicrous. What about the letterboxes with don't deliver to neighbours sticker on?
