Quite possible but would advise you do not do it for your own job but as you say is happening before we have even voted for a strike and will happen regardless even if we did it is called managed decline a bit like the police the army navy air force and health service and education all the top bods get more than the PM but no one will say it the service declines yet their pension pot is enhanced at the expense of the service! So in essence it is corporate theft on a grand scale no one will say it but it is what it is THEFT BY CHIEFDOM OR CORPORATE GREED OR BONUS CULTURE IT'S ALL THE VERY SAME!

Who knows?? There are a lot of ex postmen and women that form the public. You know its funny when managers make out that it can't be all that bad in the company when you got guys with 30+ years service. Well, what about all the failed posties?? The ones which started during Royal Mail's modernisation phase and got treated like canon fodder by being dumped on every round going and lasted only 6 months, if that, max. I remember a very high turnaround of staff with new faces starting almost every week. I'm sure many of them would think otherwise about how easy our job actually is…..
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.
