just txt one of our reps, he says we got 'grandfather rights' built into our pay. don't know where though.

If I remember correctly ESA 1 and ESA 2 were protected under the 2007 agreement but only until there was a change in Pay Policy. This policy change happened when they stopped paying us D2Ds but gave us Delivery Supplement. Ergo we don't get it anymore as it was absorbed into the Del Supp.

The ESA 1 and ESA2 payments were protected under the P&M07 agreement but the catch, which most missed including me, was that the were only protected until we had Pay Simplification - Apparently BT2010 which introduced various functional supplements was a pay simplification and so everyone who used to get ESA1 and ESA2 (subsequently Pay Protection 2007) lost it.

BTW I am neither defending or attacking the agreement merely stating the position as described on here by senior union officials.
