Tnt
I worked there 9 years ago. They already ran a mail system known as supamail. This stuff was all boxed and sealed at the warehouse and sent around the country. Obviously it was expensive..... They also handled alot of government mail possibly DSS but i never got involved with that. My job was actually good. I coded packets and supamail. There were computers for coding too but because (sadly) i knew every depot code i could do it quicker by hand. Down side was working Nights split shifts. I left just as they bought a fleet of jets because i was young (less than 20, cant give away too much!!!!) and my family pushed me to change to royal mail for security and the pension. What a f&*$ing joke eh?

Anyone who leaves for pastures new is not welome back - turncoats.
If we who are left have to put up with miserable surroundings, crap working practices, hitlerite management and poor pay then we don't want you back rubbing our noses in it - no doubt you will have tales of splendour in the grass, fantastic wages, paid breaks, 30 days holidays a year sigh! if only I wasn't almost retired.
Good luck and keep us posted especially if they have vacancies
