The fact that the poppy boxes are not being taken round the MC in Glasgow is a farce.

Im very upset by this.....

Lets not blame anyone else apart from the PC brigade who pander to idiots with red tape....

i will get back to yous on the reason why the boxes have been taken away but personaly i could guess its or old friend dignity and respect and i always thought remberance sunday was all about respect

i wasnt sure werethere to post this thread or not but i will in glasgow mail center they have removed all the poppy boxes for a donation to the earl haig foundation after asking why i was told its was in case we offened anyone . i wear my poppy proudly i was wondering if anyother mail center or other office have this problem

It happens every year, they wheel them out, dress them up, polish the medals then kinda 'put them all away' again for next year, unless they die first.

If someone stole it then it should be a case for IB as I would think that someone nicking a charity box would have no problem stealing mail
