37p an hour extra (plus your normal hourly rate) for overtime eh? What will I buy with it? Wouldn't even buy you a Mars bar! :thumbdown

I bet if RM had to pay time and a half for overtime they'd suddenly decide it'd be a good idea to employ more Full Time Posties! :hmmmm You can see why they try and Bully their existing workforce into doing as much overtime as possible. :no no

Perhaps RM should have to pay time and a half to Anybody working over their contracted hours. Then you wouldn't see so many Posties stuck on crappy Part Time contracts. Food for Thought Union Negotiators? :hmmmm

Exactly, without people doing OT the job would grind to a halt. More and more people, in my office are now refusing to do any, especially over the pressure period. The reason being, they are falling over themselves to get you out of the door now, all lapsing is cancelled but we know, the day we come back, it will all be back with a vengance.
