Healey tried taxing people to death in the 1970's and caused massive damage, again suicidal for a vibrant economy.
The black hole was caused by bailing out the banks, which was necessary to keep the entire country from going bankrupt, and began in the US. Any party would've done the same, and that bailout was the only reason the deficit became so big (and it was a myth that it needed to be cut, a deficit is completely sustainable for a country like the UK). Labour didn't cause the recession or the black hole - people say they should've regulated the banks but anyone who thinks the Tories would've done that is crazy.

You can print money without inflation - the Bank of England gave £500bn of new money to the banks, and inflation is at 0%. It's actually what the Conservatives have done that's economic suicide - the government is the biggest spender in any economy, so cutting spending has massively slowed the recovery. We can also borrow at 0% right now so it's beyond stupid that we're letting people starve when the government could be spending money to make back even more. That's why Corbyn (and no other Labour candidate) wants to create and borrow money to put into projects like infrastructure that put people in work and could make a massive return, and he'd probably leave it to the public sector so that that money goes to real people and doesn't get siphoned off by the CEO of a private contractor.

Also the Conservatives are very good at pushing the deficit reduction angle, and admittedly they are doing well. But its meaningless, the budget deficit is the annual amount the government has to borrow to meet the shortfall between current receipts (tax) and government spending. So yes they are reducing the amount they have to borrow year on year, but they are still borrowing and the DEBT is increasing. It now stands at £1.56 trillion, So the black hole is still growing and it will swallow us all if we don't get growth for everyone.

The genuine refugees are in neighbouring countries like Jordan, Turkey and Lebanon which is where Cameron is directing 900million we can't afford and importing 20,000 more people we have no housing, jobs or resources for. But at least in legal terms they are genuine refugees.
The ones paying traffickers and breaking into the EU are economic migrants.
How do you know who the genuine refugees are and are not?
So the Afghan translator who worked for the British army, whose family had been killed by the Taliban and he was under a death sentence, because he was stuck in Calais, he wasn't a genuine refugee - according to you.
And the people risking their children's lives on risky boat crossings are all economic migrants and not people fleeing for their lives - according to you.
Nope. Because he should seek asylum in the FIRST safe country according to both the UNCHR and EU regulations. In this case France or whichever country they entered before France. Once in a safe country and then wanting to illegally enter another you are an economic migrant. These people are changing the rules as they go and deciding they want the first PROSPEROUS safe country. That is the difference and you know it.

As for risking children's lives in some cases parents have done precisely that when they could have travelled safely by land over the border to a neighbouring country - it seems that when some families have some cash they prefer to pay criminals and take the chance of entering the EU via sea rather than a poorer country next-door. The consequences are often the heart-breaking images we see, and hard though it is to accept when faced with the sympathy-barrage from the media, in many cases these children died because of their parents, not persecution.

Why did the French want to kill him? Because the alternative explanation would seem to be that he'd reached "a safe country" (i.e. France) but wanted to move to another safe country, presumably because he thought his prospects would be better on this side of the channel? Now being fair, I'd imagine his prospects probably would be better in the UK rather than France not least because I'd imagine his english is way better than his french but anyone wanting to cross the channel and claim refugee status aught IMHO to able to provide a very convincing argument as why they where not safe in France!

(That the UK should taken our translators with them when we left Afghanistan and that the EU should come up with a reasonable scheme for distributing asylum seekers are also true.)

And these regulations are posted where for everyone to read?
People who may mistrust authorities and who are stuck in a country where they don't speak the language, should just follow the rules?

Funny that the British soldiers whose lives the Afghan translator saved were happy to campaign on his behalf whereas the keyboard warrior with all the answers isn't.

While the UK media like to tell stories of downbeaten people fleeing barrel bombs, chlorine gas attacks and ritual beheadings, the media in central Europe tell the real truth in that the mix contains economic migrants from places as diverse as Oman, Pakistan, Tunisia, Lebanon, Jordan, Turkey,Ukraine etc etc.
While Cameron lies blatantly that he changed policy due to the pictures of a dead kiddie (and if he really did, it would be even worse) European TV shows pictures of fit young well-dressed men who've suddenly discovered that the usual EU border restrictions are (hopefully temporarily) not it place, and are literally over-whelming checkpoints stops, etc mob-handed. So much for the strong EU and it's rules....
Germany and Merkel are to blame for this human tragedy due to their "if you get here you can stay" short-sighted and ludicrous statement, and then the "Im so caring" politicians, the luvvies like Cumberbatch, Oliver etc doing the old "I want to show my compassionate heart but I don't really care because I'm a millionaire with houses abroad so I won't be fighting them for a school place or a doctor's appointment" and then the head-in-the-clouds "the World has no borders" w*nkers all have a part to play too. :Boo hoo!
Self-serving politicos, ageing hippies and away with the fairies minor celebs...a pox on them all.

The migration process isn't a new concept, and there's no reason why those wishing to come wouldn't have studied the rules minutely and front-to-back (there's enough of those "how to get into the EU" booklets littering the beaches of Greece, after all) so to say they didn't know is pure bollix.
Why shouldn't they just "follow the rules"? Not much of a start to a new life if they're going to follow those rules which suit and ignore the rest.

Exactly. Perhaps people should look a few years down the line at the consequences of this Merkel-inspired idiocy. You can find many a YT video of news reports from N.American channels containing facts and stories the Blatantly Biased Corporation would be unlikely to show, from cities like Malmo, Oslo, Berlin etc.

And that bug-eyed zealot Sturgeon is just as bad. It's because of the electorate's fear of her leading the incompetent Millipede by the short-and-curlies that we have Cameron now.

True, that's two lying wanks.
Renationalisation (without compensation) is state appropriation and maybe common enough in the sort of countries that you wouldn't go on holiday to, but there'll be enough legal heads around to tell Jezza (and Laird McSmug) that it ain't acceptable in the here and now.
Should he try and renationalise at the current market value with compensation, there'd be political uproar (especially from his own party members) who would see a large slice of the available public pot wasted on something which would benefit, well, no-one at all really.
So he's a lying wank who just doesn't get it, or a lying wank who says what he thinks some labour party old-timers wish him to say, but either way, it's really not an auspicious start for old Jezza...

I disagree with that. More "completely dead" eyes than "bug eyes".

I believe ... in this country ... we already have something called a "Compulsory Purchase Order" ... any different - I believe not ...
"We're under model" - oh no we're not - stick your lapse elsewhere ...
