It's the same answer every time I ask! Might see the union rep tomorrow to see where I stand.
1st year I had no holidays, 2nd year I got my full holidays plus a week because I brought up the fact I had none the previous year. I then made up a week with single days but I still reckon I've a fortnight to carry on somewhere!
Just thought there was a way I could check this myself.
contact hr they will tell you

I started a thread on roughly the same thing, I had 9 days left from my 1st year which I've almost completed and also bought extra for next year bringing it up to 6 weeks and as yet haven't got a sniff of booking any holidays for next year and luckily enough I booked 2 weeks in prime summer slot in my old DO so was hoping to slip this in shortly once I can get a week or two booked for any time in April, May, June to October.

My old DO did give me a print out albeit it was a postie standing in for our DOM who was off sick and took him about a minute to find the sheet on the laptop and print it off so don't believe any manager who says there is any problem doing it.

Can someone tell me how many days annual leave I'm entitled to if on a part time 25hr week contract how many days annual leave do i have per year or per month? I read the contract but it didn't make sense.

Both yearly and by month would be good as i need to calculate how many days they need to carry over from this year (first year / new starter). Thanks

Your UK law minimum entitlement depends upon how many days a week you are contracted to work, which can include bank holidays, part days should be rounded UP...
3-day week: 16.8 days (13.5 days are basic, 3.3 days {4 days} come from bank holidays)
4-day week: 22.4 days (18 days are basic, 4.4 days {5 days} come from bank holidays)
5-day week: 28 days (22.5 days are basic, 5.5 days {6 days} come from bank holidays)

4 bank holidays (Easter Monday; May; late May; August) always fall on a Monday. So as an example, a 3-day week part-timer who is normally not at work on Fridays is not entitled to a bank holiday annual leave credit, this coming Good Friday.

I work 9 day fortnight.. 5 days one week, 4 days the next. So 5 days a week is probably applicable. Which means I'm owed roughly 2 days a month this year - as i thought. I'll let my LM & DOM know.

Thanks
