i have been off twice this year with fevers. if i feel bad i don't go in. although when i ring in my manager he will ask me if i want to come in and just stay inside, but even this can make me feel even worse. always best to just rest it off.and go back when you feel you are fine. just because your manager has a staffing problem like almost every DO now let him deal with it.

If the manager has followed the new agreement correctly regarding contact etc then there should be absolutely no need to send out any letters. Bang in a grievance.

I once went home sick and found a contact letter waiting for me on the mat, It went in the same place as the D2D also unopened. I've had members asked in for contact meetings on their day off, laughable stuff really but then Moya starts spouting shite about tackling stress related depression in the workplace and you start losing your sense of humour.

Royal Mail managers...mostly f***ing useless. :cuppa
