Our leaflets could be confused with other delivery leaflets. And customers could suspect that it is Royal Mails handiwork in leaving leaflets hanging out of the door... which could be the source of some customer complaints.


Just like letters/parcels we should have our own specially printed "Delivered by Royal Mail" logo to be put on every piece of advertising material that gets pushed by a customers door!!! We need to recognise the efforts of postmen and women.

Maybe some kind of RM paper sleeve that our d2ds could be nested into for easier handling and on that sleeve could be "how to opt out instructions"

Never going to happen, people could bin the lot without looking at any, there's no way any advertising firm would pay for that

Indeed, yet many of my colleagues still bemoan the loss of Door To Door payments as if they are now working for nothing.

Caught up with a couple of estate agents that were out posting flyers this week so I asked why they were leaving the leaflets hanging out of the letter boxes instead of posting them through. They said they tried the first few houses but decided it was too dangerous.
