That sounds like a light day to me.

I don't really understand pro Van/Loopers. I can only assume you work out of city offices and can't take looking like a tit with your helmet on. Biking, at least in our sub office, was better in every way. We just needed a support van for packets. We collapsed a walk and everything was clear everyday.

CDVs came in early this year and it's terrible. No one ever finishes. Breaking off to do specials is s**t. Syncing with a partner is s**t. Having to load up a van is s**t. Dead walking is s**t. Vehicle checks are s**t. Filling up at a Shell station miles away is s**t. LW trollies are s**t, not to mention a menace to the public. HCTs aren't fit for purposes as they require bag drops anyway, which puts more work on another CDV. Oh, and they're s**t.

We stil got couple of bikes , not for regular delivery but if some leave any packet or special behind or few items here and there we use bike to just nip over for short distance. Bikes are very convient to deliver small amout of mail for short distance from DO.
