Get that in writing, or ask in a WTL (if you get one) the response will be different, as will the mangers memory on any investigation.

Is this the same as 'managing your prep'? Most days we get told to cut our prep and can end up leaving at least one tray of unsorted mail for the managers to finish while we're out on delivery, ready for the next day, so we can get out in time to do lapsing :crazy:

Yes any mail left in the DO by the authority of the manager is streaming and is not allowed - clearly the clear office policy is being lapsed.

Not quite correct TBT, unsorted mail is not "streaming" by definition unless management has said to go through the boxes and remove the first class etc then it is, if its unsorted its simply failed mail, it does fail the clear office policy but is not streaming which is prohibited
