So we should not do anymore lapsing till the top of the CWU union agrees a bonus scheme for one and all.dingo wrote:is it hardly surprising that we have yet to agree an incentive scheme when of com are demanding more efficiency in Royal Mail before they act as a result of TNT and of com are saying to Royal Mail why are you asking for a review when you have given staff an above inflation pay rise for 3 years , when Royal Mail made an operating profit and when Royal Mail have guaranteed a dividend guarantee on the share price? Against that backdrop Royal Mail are reluctant to agree a bonus and the union will not agree to a bonus scheme without a share of any savings so at the moment there is a bit of a stale mate on anew bonus scheme given the pressure from of com.

Re: B.S.I
so no bonus scheme in existence why are we operating with % figs over 100
WHAT IS THE POINT
why are we being misled from our own area reps re these impossible figs
and why as a union who gave out the terms of agreement to be voted on , not insisting on terms accepted by rm and cwu being applied
or was it only the parts that suited rm that have been applied
power corruption and lies

Well Dingo, this does not bode well for the troops when we see management grade participating in a bonus scheme that enhances their pay by up to 10% on an annual basis. What is it that Unite are doing that you and your fellow members of the PEC and Postal Executives seem unable to get to grips with. We also see a Joint Statement on Summer Lapsing that is being totally ignored by local managers who interpret as they wish as they are being pushed heavily from above and very little sign of dignity and respect, more and more full timers being conducted coded/suspended for minor transgressions, while management continue to ignore delivery equipment methods to GET THE JOB DONE WHATEVER and enhance their pot of gold. Looks like we have a runaway train and it certainly is not going in the direction of the membership.dingo wrote:is it hardly surprising that we have yet to agree an incentive scheme when of com are demanding more efficiency in Royal Mail before they act as a result of TNT and of com are saying to Royal Mail why are you asking for a review when you have given staff an above inflation pay rise for 3 years , when Royal Mail made an operating profit and when Royal Mail have guaranteed a dividend guarantee on the share price? Re: B.S.I
haven't really been on here for a while because I jacked my union job and am thinking of leaving RM after a couple of decades of servitude. Coming back on this forum I cannot help thinking that (prob misquote) the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again. Same informed arguments being raised by members and same denial in some form or another from RM and CWU.

Re: B.S.I
The union are a bunch of bullshitters - remember the pay off we were due to get based on the company value - touted by the union as a plus to get the agreement through and after 3 years we got FA - and this time "a bonus incentive scheme by April" - well it's July and there's no scheme and RM aren't for giving us one - so much for the joint agreements on moving forward. It's time members woke up and smelled the coffee and see the union for what it is - a bunch of self serving chatterers whose sole concern is what the CWU can get out of RM for itself not for its members. Now they have the temerity to want the share rights for voting.........well that's going to be a problem because they will need the consent of each individual because it isn't a ballot so it's no wonder they are taking legal advice. If they try to snatch those rights they'll have a legal battle on their hands.

Re: B.S.I
That's a non-starter and I don't even need to take legal advice to know it so whoever it is at HQ who's spending members hard earned money on this legal advice needs a slap. You can set up a shareholders group easily enough but it has to be on an informed opt in basis, not a snatch and grab of shareholders voting rights.dvbuk55 wrote:Now they have the temerity to want the share rights for voting.........well that's going to be a problem because they will need the consent of each individual because it isn't a ballot so it's no wonder they are taking legal advice. It is of course an obvious conflict of interest to have a union whose sole purpose is supposed to be defending the terms, conditions and employment rights of its members also attempting to protect the value of a shareholding block. In simple terms pay rise = lower share price, pay freeze = higher share price, how do you square that circle?
good times, bad times you know I've had my share

Re: B.S.I
You can bet your backside it's doing the rounds at 150 Broadway to find a way of squeezing their backsides round the table - I mean would you buy a 2nd hand car from this bunch of shiftless wonders - in fact judging from the last few agreements they'd make good 2nd hand car dealers. I just wonder if the leadership was given any preferential share options either as individuals or via the union or by proxy through third parties. I'd surely like to know but I know I'm not going tofishtank wrote:It is of course an obvious conflict of interest to have a union whose sole purpose is supposed to be defending the terms, conditions and employment rights of its members also attempting to protect the value of a shareholding block.
