I think you mean you just leave it in/under/on top of the fitting until the auditors come in and want to know why the mail is still there.WornOutPosty wrote:We just leave it in / under / on top of the fitting till they re-open during any holidays

The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

also every single item should be endorsed correctly with a sticker, not just banded together or bundled in a trayclashcityrocker wrote:I think you mean you just leave it in/under/on top of the fitting until the auditors come in and want to know why the mail is still there.WornOutPosty wrote:We just leave it in / under / on top of the fitting till they re-open during any holidays

I wish they would come in, they'd have a field day with the businesses / schools etc that are closed over holidays. Our DIM doesn't care though - he'd need an office map to find the fittingsisland_boy wrote:also every single item should be endorsed correctly with a sticker, not just banded together or bundled in a trayclashcityrocker wrote:I think you mean you just leave it in/under/on top of the fitting until the auditors come in and want to know why the mail is still there.WornOutPosty wrote:We just leave it in / under / on top of the fitting till they re-open during any holidays

Last year my school never paid for a keep safe ,result instructed to kill off all mail for school .Since then all schools in our office either have a delivery point that you can get to or have a keep safe.Post1977 wrote:Told by managers that any school or company that have not paid for keep safe and have no access to delivery mail. That mail must be killed off.
Would like to know if all offices are doing this.
Worth noting now 95% of schools are now business and some are limited companies and these are what appear to be normal state schools not private in any way, so if you let one business off you have to let all business off ,just do as the manager says and you will get no grief. Forget what we did years ago !

Must be part of our new charm offensive (with the emphasis on offensive and not charm).Post1977 wrote:Told by managers that any school or company that have not paid for keep safe and have no access to delivery mail. That mail must be killed off.

I'd rather lose a manager and save over £20k every year than lose £40 for a keepsafe
Why are lino's paid full-time ??
