Everybody's been great except for ShutMyGate woman. She came out after I'd been there, muttering to herself and giving me black looks. I called out. 'I leant across the fence from next door so I haven't been anywhere near your gate and in any case it was already open so you can stop looking at me like that... quite frankly." Even managed to not swear. Lordy - that felt good!

then comes out with:
" I didn't get no post yesterday cos of you f***ing lazy c***s - they wanna sack you lot get the pakis in they'll do it for f**k all!!! ".
I wanted to walk over and knock the p***k out but I've been up since 4 am, and in no fit state of mind to get into a slanging match with this fuckwit. As I get back down the street, starts again, "How much you on an hour? 6, 7, 8 quid? You don't f***ing deserve 8!" " Get a real man's job!".
f***ing classic situation were I always think of the best comebacks about 30mins later. The red mist nearly took over but I just pussied out. So I'm ashamed of myself for not having the balls to stand up to this tool, and pissed off that morons think like that.

I think he's just bitter because he failed the Royal Mail aptitude test.

No abuse from any of my customers (was expecting a few negative comments).

Well, when I finally got out today, I was in for 7.30 & left the SO at 11.20 after prep, I got a good bit of support from my customers BUT I did get blanked all morning from my general manager, I have only been with the company 2 months & up until today he has always popped round to see how im doing, any problems etc, I think he was showing his true colours today, what a tosser, cant wait for tomorrow, BTW, I was told I will be getting OT today if I worked past my hours which I did by 2 hours yet some of the lads were told NO OVERTIME, do your round until your official finish time then bring mail back, whats going on??????

If get any more s**t like that just say you've got 1 GCSE and your Bronze swimming certificate. So were refused a job as a builder on the grounds of being too intelligent. That and your arms aren't long enough for your knuckles to drag along the floor.

I had nothing but support from the people on my delivery today, the few I actually saw anyway. Think my 1st letter was at 11.15

Same with me - I got retirment flats and my walk is predominantly middle / upper middle class.....everybody I have spoken to from the off has been in support. One gentleman ( after I told him about the proposed pension changes ) almost turned incandescent with indignation & said they can't change the rules after you have signed up to those rules, especially with something like a pension, and the best bit that I treasure was his quote "That's totally wrong, I find it immoral and utterly contemptable the mangers could consider that!"

Cheers Mr C, still makes me smile! :Applause :Applause :Applause

Some of you guys on here worry me.you can't stand up to a bit of micky in the office, you can't stand up to a small minded manager, you can't stand up to a builder, any body comes on this site and takes the piss you start crying.........some of you can't stand up for yourself ! Saints preserve us, if the two donkeys who are leading us read this site we have got no chance. They will see us as fuxxing weak so come on didums group hug and cuddle...........NOW LETS SHOW THEM WE ARE NOT ALL WEAK and get on with what we are doing, saving jobs and sorting out our pensions etc etc .Do the job properly and if you run out of time CUT OFF AND BRING IT BACK........it's that simple, don't worry about what others are doing just stick to your guns and do it.................PRETTY PLEASE ! I have been off sick for a while now but before this I had almost 100% support from my customers. I have and hope to maintain very good relationship with the majority of them, always assuming my walk has'nt been changed when I return.
