Big Daz mate you can forget about shift allowance being absorbed into pay, RM only want you to start later so as to take that allowance away from you, whatever they say always think the opposite, remember job and finnish, and you can keep your allowances for 3 years, and youve done a great job to get us back in profit and by the way we want to get rid of 40,000 of you.

just been handed a letter from our dom regarding later starts . it is a questionairre with questions like what hours would suit you , how would this affect you working later etc. it has to completed and handed to him . but im in a dillema. firstly if i fill it in am i playing into there hands by sayin go ahaed change my times or do i not fill it in and risk being s**t on by not completing the form?? why oh why cant we just get along like one big happy family!!

Go round and collect up all the forms, unfilled in, and then hand them to the union rep.

I have some experience of RM's procedures in this area. Once upon a time we had a ballot in our office and more people voted than worked there at the time!
