get on picket line and go on the marches
and then and only then will we have a slight chance of fighting this and getting a better deal

Let us get this right , the company has not yet been sold , all be it I now believe that the guarantee of a dividend will mean some of it will be if the party conference season does not politically stop it. lets face it the Tories want a General Election fund to give tax cuts.
However this dispute is necessary even more so if we have new owners.
Every private company attacks its workforce with franchising , outsourcing and down dialling terms in order to gain a bigger share price.
I predict that if we do not get a yes vote and get an agreement on protection of terms and conditions we will see
Franchising of delivery routes and collection routes with terms for tender reducing each year.
Outsourcing of work which does not form part of the USO shipped to TNT , Hermes and the like which can be sub contracted and down cheaper
Mail Centres will be owned by different companies such as Siemens with more agency staff then normal staff.
Network runs be outsouRced.
A 2 tier workforce with people on zero hours.
Removal of things like the delivery supplement , the Xmas bonus , shift payments , ex bonus payments , seniority and a further attack on pensions.
At times like this , you get lots of opinions and even more excuses but in the end it comes down to this
You have those who will fight for their futures and you will have those who will hold our coats who will take the benefits of our fight but will also be willing to accept anything Royal Mail , the new owners and the Government will do to them.
