It used to be called seniority list ,i personally would call it a hit list,my observations overlast 5 years would confirm this.Dim in my old DO got rid of at least 25 f/t some very senior posties in as many months.Some very senior guys aswell.

Still in bottom half of an office with 200+.
Only time I move up is when someone gets the sack.

Got 6 years left. Don't think I will make top half.
Would rather stay where I am than see more workmates get the boot.

done 43 yrs and 3 or 4 out of about 800.

15/16 yrs in about 10th in an office of 22 apart from 3 new starts the most junior guy has about 10 years

its, on the whole a decent job ,that's what people need .
