As I said to one very senior chap - "If you can't stand the heat of criticism, get out of the kitchen. When you're at a senior level, you have to take the flak for the decisions you make and accept that not everyone agrees with you".
Not long after that I was pulled to one side, got told I was a troublemaker, and asked to 'consider my options'.

EX RM MANAGER do not like managers much but at least you have a mind unlike most r/m managment you still have you soul thank god & yourself for that.
