So Jessica, did you lapse today?

Re: Lapsing starts tomorrow
About 90% of the office took their 30 calls like good little posties. I went over by 45 mins on my own P&L 7 looper and booked it. i will take each day as it comes and if I get back before my finish time I will gladly go back out. Shame the runners and the no break takers don't do the same. Still horse and water springs to mind...

Re: Lapsing starts tomorrow
If the traffic is below model week and the opportunities for lapsing are clearly there, and extra summer leave spots can be freed up, why is anyone off their head for agreeing to lapse?bigal383 wrote:get your trollys out take every minute of your breaks and start taking it easy, your all off your heads if you agree to lapsing
Dishonestly going extra slow just plays into RM hands and makes us all look like the dishonest workshy posties they believe we are.

Re: Lapsing starts tomorrow
I see nobody has an answer to Jessica's question on the fact that the union were supposedly to instruct ALL offices to stop lapsing today.
Any news Dingo?
TBFH i probably wasn't alone in wondering how on earth this was supposed to be implemented when BT2010 states that ALL paid hours must be worked, was signed by both RM and the CWU . Therefore if time allows and work is there to be done, then not working all paid hours leaves members wide open to ' refusing a reasonable request '.
