Well whats he got to fear if he`s ill,then all he has to do is go for the stupid interview show them how `sick` he is then they won`t have a leg to stand on(pardon the pun),and he can`t do deliveries or by the sounds of it any sort of sorting so that leaves cleaning the bogs or sweeping up or collecting the empty mail boxes.

Good luck bolton postie. That harold hardrada is a clown. I really hope IT gets struck down with a serious ailment, and has to take a year out of work. Then IT can put up with the bullying tactics of RM and eventually get the sack. IT's just a wind up merchant who doesn't dignify a response.

Just thought I`d let twats like Harold Hardrada and co know about the letter I received this morning.

I have been `invited` upto the nearest mail centre for an interview so that they can discuss my absence and ascertain my view on the type of work I maybe able to perform.
It also says in the letter that before any decision can be taken that they will be securing health advice off Employee Health Services on the type of tasks I could `potentially`undertake.

Right first of all they sent the letter to my old address and I only got it because the postie knows me and gave it to the lad on where I live now,secondly the mail centre is miles away from where I live and although it`s been open some time now I`ve never been and don`t even know where the fook it is.
I can`t drive either as I`ve still only got about 25% sight in my right eye and also I`m housebound,I`ve only been out of the house once since my collapse and that was with the wife and even then I only managed 15mins on the local park.

EHS have no fooking idea what is up with me as even I don`t know yet as I don`t get to see my Neurologist until 23rd October and I told them this over the phone. I`ve not had one of their quacks look at me yet so how the fook can they know what task I could `potentially` undertake?

My Dr says I`ve not to get worked up or stressed out bit difficult when RM keep hassling you.

Nigh on the same shite they pulled on me... Wanted to send me Miles out of my way,, Hassled me back into a job and place ive got major problems with.. Sent me to a QUACK that RM say is a DR..... ???

If you want a chat Bolton postie i would be only to happy to PM u and ave a chin wag... I feel for ya and have been thru the mill with this kind of bullying...... All i would say and make the point that i just read,,, Get your Consultant and UNION Area Rep involved and your Area H&S Rep..... it will help in the long run to get all amounts of cover from these people....

there's been a instance at the local zoo with the late shift manager suddenly becoming a medical expert ( as they all try to do) and then the hack doctor stating that such & such a condition could be "cured " with such a sort of medication. So it's the quack going on "questions " on the BRF with "desired" RM answers . That LSM was a ex-boxer/runner and took it on himself to chase after armed ram raiders .

When I was on long term sick I was sent to see the rm doc??? after which I received a letter from my manager saying he expected me to be back at work the following Monday or further action would be taken. I replied by letter stating the doc??? never even examined me. Amazing how they can perform an examination through the spoken word. I also said I would return when my consultant and own gp had said I was able to. When I was supposed to have returned to work I had been re-admitted to hospital. Never heard of him untill I was ready to return.

If you have trouble attending one of these meetings (aka Spannish Inquisition), then tell them that they have to come to you. They HAVE to do so, and you can still have a Rep present.

They have pulled this s**t on a couple of people at my RDC alone. One was forced to do a 50 mile round trip, dispite being unable to drive himself, as he was injured in an accident at work. Another who was suffering from depression, was called twice a week for updates on how soon he could return to work.

Both of these were sorted with the threat of legal action, as dispite what your managers will tell you, it is ILLEGAL to treat you like this while you are on sick leave. It is HARRASSMENT, and the b******s need to be confronted with the consequences of their actions.

As for EHS appointments: they take ages to get, you rarely see the right person, and worst of all: if you see the wrong person, they MAKE JUDGEMENTS ANYWAY!!!!

The sooner we all start confronting them with the consequences of their actions, the sooner we can be treated like Human Beings.

I just hope that they actually end up going as far as Court with one of these cases. Because at the moment, the Public don't know how badly we are treated, when ill. They don't even care when it's a potentially terminal illness like Cancer!
