Interesting article. Seems people have mixed views on them. Thankfully my experience turned out to me good. A typical overreaction of my manager though. But what do you expect these days???

Do royal mail have to accept atos decision or is it only a guidance? My neighbour has been give a 3 month termination date after a stage 3 interview but has a letter from atos saying his condition would be covered by dda, he has appealed the decision but union arent given him much help

If the absences are attributable to a condition covered by the Equality Act and he hasn't had more time off than would be understandable with the condition (and hasn't been warned that further absences WILL be couned underthe Attendance Procedure), then it is hard to see what grounds RM have for dismissal.
Have all the absences been properly recorded?
