Are the DOMs going to do them
Apparently the people who come back before their time will go back out with it  that's what is behind making them take all of their break before they leave, because of the staggered start times and most people still taking their break off the end of their duties the Dom says he didn't know the correct duty times,I doubt it will work,he accused us of working to the volume of mail and that he is tasked with stopping all talking no tea breaks when ips is being done etc etc all so we are more profitable so we can make some fat cats even more rotund :wave
Interesting about stopping talking. My DOM suggested a while ago that come the revision then nobody would be allowed to go to the toilet during IPS!!!

This really is an organisation without any scruples or sense of conscience towards either it's employees or it's customers.

With the quite massive hike in postal prices revenue is flooding in, do they invest wisely? Not one bit of it, overinflated managerial salaries, £millions spent on thir version of Blue Peter (WCM) and they don't even have the decency cover their day to day operating costs in deliveries.

I'll admit I used to be very proud to work for Royal Mail, good solid organisation not without it's issues, and more importantly great colleagues. It is now run by greedy corporate thugs who willingly neglect the Health and Safety and general welfare of their employees and who actively condone (and probably promote) bullying and harassment. The whole sorry bunch are a total disgrace to the organisation starting at the very top.

Your right and most people have been brainwashed by politicians and the media that we are lucky to have a job, consequently most of our office is running scared doing what they can to make it all work I do feel sorry for them but you have got to say when enough is enough and stand up to management, but they always quote the traffic figures to you and they are brainwashed more than anyone and when we are sold they will be the first gone :wave what a world we live in where profits come before people :Boo hoo!
when i am king you will be first against the wall

Managers are only interested in themselves and maintaining there bonus. Posties have to stand up for themselves. And say enough is enough. But i wish our union would also be more supportive.

Absolutely spot on.

It is about time the union implemented a work to rule. This would highlight how much is done by goodwill and overtime.

The new one is prettier but the message is the same.................'don't be a c***'.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

I found an old one a couple of days ago that just said Help to make managers their bonus...use your car.
I think a lot of members missed the sarcasm and took it as an instruction. :cuppa

That is an excellent Poster and whilst I would add a couple of other bullet points around health and safety it covers the main points.

It should be on EVERY CWU noticeboard in DOs alongside relevant SSOW and SOPs.

There should also be one for collection drivers reminding them to follow SSOW at all times eg the use of trolleys when picking up trays from small businesses.

It is important that people work safely at a decent work rate and that RM fulfills its obligation to cover ALL workload not just that portion that matches the budget. The money is there! it's just a question of where it is allocated.
