As for their certificates and ties, they've all ended up in the bin. The idea of me and the missus sitting down to dinner with those managerial parasites gives me the shivers. You're better off out of it and heading down to the pub for a pint with decent people.
Sitting down to dinner with those berks , I'd choke. The pub bit, and with decent working people , that's what I'd like, and be more comfortable with.

Nothing for something

I've done over 30 years and haven't taken any long service awards. I was invited to go dancing with the vermin but I'd rather poke me eyes out with a blunt stick :evil/mad . I can't understand why anyone would take this stuff. some of our blokes would sell them Manhattan for a few beads :no no

They send these farting brochures out with a list of tat asking which item you would like. I never reply. They've sent me a brandy glass (with Royal Mail engraved on it) and a beer tankard (with bloody Royal Mail engraved on it). I'd sooner drink out of a piss pot from a pox clininc than drink aut of anything like that. So, in the bin they went.

I think Crozier got the bendy Leighton if those rumours about the negotiations last month are correct.

Our last Area Rep went to one. I asked him how he could sit there with that shower of no-marks. He said, "They each bought me a whisky!" and was very pleased with himself. They'd have to buy me Glenfiddich, Glenmorangie, Glenn Miller, his orchestra and throw in Bushmills and I'd still step over them if they were having a heart attack.

I'm very fond of a drop of Talisker but there's not enough in the world to tempt me to socialise with our beloved management. As a branch chairman myself I would be disgusted to have an area rep who attended one of these things
