Still waiting for my packet posted 14th December. Is it possible it could still be in some sort of backlog?? Today was really quiet on packets in my DO. I'm getting suspicious that someone has nicked it (not a postie but a landlord I rent from whom would have received the packet had it been delivered).

It is now very unlikely your packet is sitting in any kind of backlog.
It has either...never been sent,been incorrectly addressed and sent to the wrong address,been correctly addressed but incorrectly delivered,has an incomplete address and been returned to sender,been attempted but not carded or been stolen....by person or persons unknown.
Take your pick.
