Pls cud u explain this to me-i am contracted for 38hrs and get every sixth week off.does this mean of the 6 days i work i only get paid 5??

Yes.
You work an extra day a week to get the week off in the 6th week,you get paid for 5 days and bank the 6th day for the week off.....which you also get paid for obviously.

You don't gain or lose money.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
