The Roll Cages were provided from around October last year, they are for storage as opposed to carriage, (Yorks). Their intention is so that the Yorks are returned to the MC for repair/replenishment.
When your Manager completes their bi-daily Delivery Office Daily Report they are supposed to count and report all yorks on site in order to ensure that returns etc. are being done correctly. If you have yorks being used for storage or not being collected then your Manager is either not completing the DODR correctly or the person receiving the reports is not collating the information provided correctly. it is important for H&S and for logistics that we can account for and ensure correct turnaround of our equipment.
The MC drivers come in in the afternoons and clear all the yorks.........even the ones still being used, not that I mind, I can carry my stuff out to the van one item at a time but it still means that we wont have enough space for packets in a mini york (remember that each duty now has it's own york per day for packets).
