It's generated by key words in the thread, you can always get ad blocker if you don't want to see them but it helps Postman fund the site so, small price to pay.

Your choice.

Dig a deeper hole, or come clean and hope others are willing to help you out of the hole you've already dug.

A little bit of humility and honesty in life can get you far.

A bit of a long shot but you could email moya.greene@royalmail.com . £4000 would be little more than 1% of her annual bonus and she seems an understanding sort of person. Good luck with sorting it out anyway.

Just as others have said you do need to tell your wife before it gets even more out of hand. I would suggest finding the help straight away and actually singing up for some counselling of some sorts. Maybe your GP could help as its an addiction. :hmmmm

Once you have some help plan in place (quickly) then go to your wife and be totally honest and tell her.

What ever you do DO NOT go to a loan shark or one of these WONGA cash sites and take out a short term loan on some stupid 2000% + return.

Best of luck with this

I am afraid greed and corruption and stupidity is the way of our society today... ..starting at the highest level with MPs and Banks being 2 examples...

That said... I am sorry to hear of your plite.....

Best to come clean with your wife and ...stick....and I mean stick ...to an agreed plan between you and your wife in going forward in your life and relationship.... trust and respect will grow from your wife and hopefully you will look back at this as history in the future...... remember staying out of debt is wonderful financial freedom.....and more money for yourself.

Good Luck .....and seek advice as others have mentioned ....and go for it....

Any news...... ?

Have you looked up any help or are you not in "that place" yet ?

Sandy: "It's a cheerful philosophy and I've heard it from people before. They're all dead now."
