I think you lads misunderstood what i meant, its an internal infection where the op was done not the initial incision that was made . was hoping for some constructive help not the normal piss take anyway how do you take a post off if you don,t want it on anymore?

None of this relates to an operation of so many years ago so this may be a new problem which has been caused by all the walking etc..

Questions about scar tissue infection are usualy something like "About 2 years ago I had surgery done on a cyst on the inside bend of my leg where it meets the rest of my body and I've had a scar there ever since. Well like 4 or 5 days ago I noticed that it kinda hurt. It started to get red and puffy and it hurt to move....." "I have never heard of scar tissue getting infected after that long." and 14 years is a lot longer than 2 years.

Just a thought, but frankieboy's problem, 18 years too long ago for the operation to be the cause, might it be a sexually transmitted condition ?
I only ask as us postmen are said to be the new milkmen.

Been to the docs today lads, sending me for an ultra sound scan, so hopefully they sort it out once and for all
