It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

There's isn't nearly as much MS3 as there used to be, most has gone over to DSA so can't be left. What MS3 there is will soon arrive at MCs the day before it's due for delivery so again you won't be able to leave it. As to 1C and 2C, once mail arrives at the inward MC it's ALL 1C. The only thing early finishes do is give DOMs scope for more lapsing and adding more delivery points to walks.

Tracked items probably get put in with the packets to save space on the vans (are all the tracked in a layer at the top of the sleeve?).

As to the SDs being arriving at your DO at 07:30 has your DO recently moved to later starts? Another possibility is that it was an agency driver on the early run who just took to your DO whatever was on the dock.

Many MCs are having to deal with that WCM s**t which leads to double-handling of a lot of stuff which has a knock on effect of more stuff going on later runs. With a number of DOs round the country having gone over to later starts (what is the average start time now in DOs?) I would not be surprised if nationally it will reach a point where RM axe all runs to DOs before 06:00 as they would save a lot of money on driver's shift allowance (probably by starting them at 06:01).

Anyway, good luck to whichever one of them two teams in the Scots Cup Final is the underdog!
