But if you both went back to the office you would have to book the extra 15 mins as well yes?
Yes but why would I want to do thatand book 15 mins extra if my round finishes at my house??
Office is 3 miles away
I might well be wrong, but everyone is supposed to finish their working day at the depot, following a P&L revision. This rule has been in place at my pre-P&L depot for a while now.
One immediate issue that springs to mind is every time you finish at home, you are not officially signing out and nobody should be doing that for you.
In all the years I have worked at RM we have never signed out at our office apart from when you leave to start our delivery.
The office shuts anyway at 3pm , by the time we finish our delivery its all locked up anyway SO HOW CAN YOU SIGN OUT??
What is the latest contract OPG finish time at your depot, eastie?
If management know there are regularly OPGs getting back to the depot at 1500, why is the depot not open for them to sort out failed delivery items and missorts?
And more importantly, is leaving failed specials overnight in the vehicle 100% within RM protocol?

He would, the office shuts at 3pm and they are left in the van anyway in the office carpark till morning .
How was that agreed?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been. My BFF Clash The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

The only ones finishing on time are the ones coming in early unpaid and I'm not doing that
but happy for your partner to finsh a good bit later than you
cut off and both finsh at the office on time, if its an issue
but no,you wil lbe quite happy for someone else to be later home as long as it suits
