Well done!
Noticed the ONE days induction!
Was 2 weeks when I started!
The induction is just classroom stuff - watching dvd's on health and saftey, good practice etc.. He will probably be buddied up for 5 days then off into the big wide world on your lonesom.
Well done and enjoy, keep your head down, do the job and it will be all great.

Well done fella, the advice I offer is take your time, don't rush mate, ask questions 99% of people will help as we have all been there and above all do not go sick for the first year even if you feel terrible get into work.If your feet are soft and you are not used to walking nip into a chemist and buy a bottle of surgical spirits and wipe this on your feet it really toughens them up.
great advise guys, i am used to being on my feet all day so i dont think it will be that bad but i think i will start walking everywhere, get my fitness levels up.
well if the folks in my DO are as helpful as the most of you i think ill be okay, im usually really quick to pick up new things so i hope that will help.
just want to thank any of you that help with any questions i had, and put up with my constant updates and more questions.
I have my induction 25th october and start on 26th its been 18 months and im just so ecstatic that i can finally move on and into a career that i hope i will enjoy and excel at.
Thanks again guys.
Congrats.
The job has it's bad point's (& good point's!!!) but it's certainly better than being on the rock 'n' roll.
well if the folks in my DO are as helpful as the most of you i think ill be okay

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been. My BFF Clash The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
