WHAT ISSUES WILL THEY EXPECT US TO EXCEPT?
THE UPPER UNION MIGHT COME BACK TO US WITH A PROPOSAL FROM RM AND THEMSELVES BUT IF WE DON'T LIKE IT
WE CAN TELL BOTH NO WAY AND VOTE AGAINST.
THE UNION IS OBLIGED TO AGREE TO SOMETHING AND SHOW IT'S MEMBERS-----THE MEMBERS DON'T!!!!
WE HAVE THE VOTE!!!!!

The beauty is that when we get the offer and recommendation this site will be the place to be as we will comment on it with our own biases and not either a Union or Royal Mail one.

Re: vote
Let's have faith in our union - theyv'e got us this far. The 2 muppets always stated they would never talk - now they are, that's got to be a win for the CWU.DirtyHarry wrote:And that, cornish mate, is what it really boils down to.cornishrep wrote:I CANNOT SEE IMHO HOW ROYAL FAILED WILL RELENT ON ALL ISSUES.

The CWU know they will have to put any deal to a vote - after the mass show of solidarity they couldn't be stupid enough to recommend a deal we are aren't going agree to.....my office would certainly let them know that!
Remember how far we have come in the last few months.....UNITY IS STRENGTH........we now have the unity and we have the strength unlike Leighton & Crozier

Just so TBT. The offer will have to be put to the membership whatever it is. Both sides are going to put the best spin on it that they can BUT we have seen deals in the past and we KNOW what's a good deal, a bad deal and one where there is no compromise.TrueBlueTerrier wrote:The beauty is that when we get the offer and recommendation this site will be the place to be as we will comment on it with our own biases and not either a Union or Royal Mail one.
