I noticed in the letters section on the back page that they were all critical of the business which makes a change.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

The body language says it all.......crossed arms....self preservation and defensive.
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

Check out the story 'hero Eugene saves baby from brink'
Of course after all those heroics, there's something he MUST do:
"there wasn't anything else to do apart from pick up my bag and carry on with my round"
Hahaha classic Courier, always has a lesson in there that you must complete your delivery.

Re: First courier today
I had the same thought, if you're having a discussion with people and they cross their arms and look defensive then you are really failing in one of your main duties as a manager (maybe that's just me though).Stormproof wrote:The body language says it all.......crossed arms....self preservation and defensive.

Re: First courier today
It's a myth that crossing your arms is a defensive gesture.
Most of the time it's a reaction to having nothing to occupy your hands with and usually it's imitation behaviour.

The guy closest to the camera is the lone wolf...the other three are sheep.
