This is pointless as there are currently very very few alternative letters carriers.
When will Royal Mail start concentrating on getting the service right rather than trying to bolster its ever crumbling image?

It's a nice idea but how about they spend some money refurbishing the elderly CFCs which barely cancel the stamps out if at all.bag69 wrote:Too little too late. How much will this cost anyway, considering how they are slashing everything. Bet its part of the privitisation plan. Let the public know what we deliver, then say it needs to be done to safeguard it. Or maybe i am just cynical!!!

Re: Delivered by Royal Mail
People already know who delivers it. They generally don't notice the TNT,UKMail or whatever marking on the letter.
And as such they assume that any delays or problems are solely down to RM and everything posted by anyone is handled solely by RM and hence the blame is solely attributable to RM. This is only going to reinforce that issue.

Exactly. People know they don't have 5 different people delivering their post every day.CharlesSpooner wrote:People already know who delivers it. They generally don't notice the TNT,UKMail or whatever marking on the letter.

Complete waste of time and money yet again.

Re: Delivered by Royal Mail
They should concentrate on franking the stamps, RM must give away millions every year in free stamps. I've become almost obsessive about scribbling through unfranked stamps with my biro, probably a couple of dozen every day.
