yeah we were told some jobs wont have to van share as a lot of people dont get on now,,, i wonder why?

It's got f**k all to do with "getting on" or the size of the vans or whether it's working elsewhere.
There are no savings for RM in van share and trolley's so they are backtracking as fast as they can.

One question...If the CWU had came to you and said "We are increasing the delivery span to 4.5-5hrs without any way of easing the weight on delivery issues...would you have bought it or would you be calling them a bunch of no good sell-out bastards.

fishtank, you seem to becoming quite aggressive with your comments, i feel that it's starting to get to you.. which is understandable because it's already got to me,, the whole p&l delivery, trollies and the 2010 agreement was,, and is a TOTAL FINANCIAL DISASTER FIASCO,,,, i cannot believe these so called people at the top, thinking up such a disasterous business plan............ Our revision has also been put on indefinite hold at the last minute due to..... Health and Safety! I kid you not H&S my a**! I agree P&L is never going to save money so looks like they are trying to backtrack without looking stupid. But on the downside we have had to fight another week of '7 day summer lapsing' so looks like they will try to force through savings through the back door.

we was at stage 3 with the vans they been in car park now for 2 months all taxed to is a joke.
walks been thrown out now by management they want more hours out and full time with part time in the vans
is a joke how royalmail can be run like this planner been here year and half now well we on our 5th one now

This saga could run as long as Coronation Street. Moya could be cast as Ena Sharples, sorry forget that one, at least Ena had some integrity, was English and could manage the cleaning duties at the social. Soneone is going to make a killing out of making a documentary about this farce. If you handed a bunch of school kids a project on how to organise deliveries, they would come up with more sensible strategies than these current w...krs are capable of.
