Re: Duty Repick Question
so whats the alternative..?? a 90 day wonder, who will probably leave after a couple of years gets first pick, over people who have 25-30-years service, who are likely to be there to retirement....long service members had all the worst duties when they first started,(thats how you learn the job) you either put your time in or serve out your notice if you dont like it

Re: Duty Repick Question
It was always the rule that duties in a resign had to be displayed for 3 weeks before the resign happened ( to allow for people on A/L). Whether that is still adhered to I don't know as so many rules seem to be 'forgotten' these daysworktotime wrote:how does the repick work, i know its on senority but what about full time and part time ,you have got p/timers senoir to f/t does it have 2 seperate lists,as they would have to make p/t up to f/t and f/t down to p/t surely thats not right loseing hours , and can i ask when the maps of all the dutys are shown is there a set time before the repick starts.
