Starting to think our representative at our small office, who is also our Union rep, is on the take. He never pushes for our rights in regard to OT and takes long whispered phone calls from the Manager that we hardly ever see. A Manager who gave the office, consisting of 13 people a bottle of scotch to share for Xmas even though all but two rounds are driving deliveries.....

We're still hunting for the Easter Eggs that we're sure he hid

I'm quite surprised that visiting Managers park their nice shiny cars in our yard. We have enough of our own vans dinked by various other RM staff in RM vehicles.

I suppose if someone did put a dent into one of them RM would quote.."All vehicles are parked at the owners risk...." get out clause. Shame, but you shouldn't rub people's noses in it.

I really don't see what business it is of anyone what someone else spends their money on. Furthermore it raises questions as to why would anyone really be bothered? Surely there are better things to do in life?

The underlying question is not what they spend 'their' money on, but how much are they getting, and at what cost to the well-being of the workforce?

I think we all know the answer to the second part of that question, and we deserve to know the answer to the first part.... After all, if MPs expenses and bankers bonuses are in the public domain, as are our paltry rewards, why shouldn't RM be obliged to come clean over management bonuses?
