Re: revisions NOT being implemented.
You would probably get "job and finish" in your own vehicle instead of returning to the office - saving just enough time to make a difference !!!andy2007 wrote:So what's the difference between using your cars, or the vans?superports wrote:Seems to me managers are doing it because its not working during the week so they don`t want left with loads of undelivered mail on a Saturday.
I know there aren't enough. But surely they should let you use as many vans as are available, shouldn't they?

The manager is being a tosser...closely followed by the members. All delivery revisions will be planned on the basis of no use of private cars. Private cars on delivery will cease upon the deployment of a Delivery Methods revision in a unit.

Unbelievable lol

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: revisions NOT being implemented.
AFAIK TN area is still in the dark about what's happening ( all revisions postponed due to stage 3 disagreement at Ashford ) so we could get revisions back on next week or never.....place your bets now
I don't suppose your mouth bleeds every 28 days, does it?

Re: revisions NOT being implemented.
Is there not a paragraph under a different section of the agreement which says 'in exceptional circumstances and where no other blah blah, then the use of private cars may be permitted? Im sure i saw it somewhere in the agreement, obviously Royal MailAll delivery revisions will be planned on the basis of no use of private cars. Private cars on delivery will cease upon the deployment of a Delivery Methods revision in a unit.
would be taking the piss if they used that paragraph to justify a private cars free for all but it wouldnt take much for exceptional
circumstances to become the norm in Royal Mail.

Re: revisions NOT being implemented.
Lets be clear here, the revisions will go ahead BUT, the revision cannot
worsen the units current run rate, i.e not spend anymore than you currently
are, even if the tools, i.e GEORUTE/IWT say investment is needed, thats the
N.E stance anyway.

Not so good for the 75% of members carrying a bag and therefore carrying chronic knee and back problems into what should have been a happy retirement.

And how will bikes deal with the increase in packets?Big Daz wrote:If delivery methods never sees the light of day at my D.O the mbrs will be happy
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Re: revisions NOT being implemented.
The revision starts on Monday in my office, only 1 section at the moment followed by the other 2 in the near future.
