It's 100% over the week:dean07 wrote:You only have to do 3 days d2d,s ie 20% per day. Stuff the other 40%. Let the Dom,s sort it out
That is quoted from page 23 of the agreement (3rd paragraph on the page)In order to provide the foundation for this approach and ensure customer confidence in the core product, Door to Door will become a 52 weeks a year product. There will be no change to the current D2D workplan and all items will continue to be available for delivery from Monday onwards. Whilst the planned workload will be spread across the 6 days, delivery employees will have the ability to manage the delivery of the items themselves on the proviso that all items are delivered within the week and the delivery specification is not affected.

Re: Wednesday
But extra time needs to be allowed to prep the items in the frame, just take everyone off the IPS and it will work fine!SpacePhoenix wrote:It's 100% over the week:dean07 wrote:You only have to do 3 days d2d,s ie 20% per day. Stuff the other 40%. Let the Dom,s sort it out

Sounds a very good way to look at it to metaurus88 wrote:We're not gonna get battered at all, calm down guys. Just think, if you get in and there's lots of mail and parcels, you're not getting battered. It's cold outside and you're getting a nice treat - lots of indoor work to break you back in nicely to the swing of things. You could be inside till 11.30 or some such ridiculous time, then you'll only have a couple of hours on delivery before you cut-off and then bang, you're off home. In fact, a day on which you get 'battered' is a far better day than a light one. Just follow the same parameters and you'll be able to cut off nicely and pleasantly in good time, getting home long before it's dark with a gorgeous mug of hot chocolate ready to warm your soul back up before another easy Thursday of cutting off.
just work to your time

Ditto, I am already planning to work to time on Wednesday. They caused this mess, let them deal with it
Run, rabbit run. Dig that hole, forget the sun.
And when at last the work is done. Don't sit down, it's time to dig another one

Re: Wednesday
When unlimited dr2drs came in we were instructed by our DIM that we can strictly only do 20% a day... any less is willful delay, any more is a breach of H&S due to excess weight.
So stuff doing 100% in 3-4 days!

Re: Wednesday
This is exactly the right attitude we ALL should have. Do your job which you are paid to do. Dont kill yourselves because all you are to Royal Mail is a statistic.blue1873 wrote:Sounds a very good way to look at it to metaurus88 wrote:We're not gonna get battered at all, calm down guys.
