It's not your problem if the mail doesn't get delivered mate. Managers get paid to deal with all that crap.

I'm getting lots of abuse from customers about mail being delivered late....last drops were around 4pm!....i just pass on the office phone number to them and let them complain away....

I give them the office phone number ......and the next day they complain they couldn't get through.

Thing is, i do sympathise with the customers...it's a shoddy service they are getting now....under the old system of delivery i cleared everyday on my walk, not so anymore....royal mail dont care about customer service anymore...it all about profit..... :Boo hoo!

This revision is a bit more balanced than the last revision with most walks being about 4 hours. Unfortunately we have 27 mins less per day to deliver, all the packets, specials and tracked, D2D into workload, van checks and trolleys which even RM admit are slower than carrying it.

On the whole, our office should level out at about 1.5 deliveries per van share when everything settles down. If they don't make the deliveries smaller then the office will never run smoothly.
