The manager i ran IWT with last week has now inputted data from the Duty management tool and it has swung the BSI and performance figures complettely the other way, and if thats right then fine. But when i asked how that changed things he didnt know himself. Is IWT self contained as we used it last week or is it to run parallel with this duty management tool. Confused

the IWT is self contained, but the information that should be input into it comes from the duty management system, get you manager to print out the 318s for each walk within the duty management system and check they are correct if not then your in feeding shite in so will only get shite out, the duty management will give you daily totals for indoor hours, codes g54 etc, one of the pages on the IWT lets you input these into the spreadsheet, the duty management system must be completely accurate other wise there is no point, so an 8 hour duty has exactly 8 hours worth of tasks allocated to it within the duty management system

they are part and parcel of the duty management system, to get an output from that you need to create a duty 318 to get the output hours for the iwt, yes they stopped using them but now with the roll out of the iwt they must create new ones for the office duties otherwise there is no information in duty management for them to put into the iwt, so if they say the 318 doesnt exist then they are not using the duty management system
