I understand the position you have been put in, by low level, 2nd rate, RM brown nosers - but I for one will try to resist moderating what I post on these forums, for one simple reason - I ain't paid by RM 24/7, so I don't see why I should play nice to RM 24/7.

Yes it's not fair but then Royal Mail aren't fair to us as a rule anyway as you know.

I've changed the bottom part of the post.
Maybe the other one was a bit long winded,the new part is short and straight to the point.

Regarding strike breakers/strike breakers which was in there early on,that was just a personal preference on MY front.
I just don't use the S word as a rule,i didn't mean it to look like you guys couldn't use it.

I know first hand of how the 'eyes' check over this site and internet.

Being ultimately careful now in what I write / post on the net, I do strongly urge you all to follow Postmans opening lines at the beginning of this thread and I thank Postman for doing so.

I posted a video on YouTube which was 10 minutes long and it was a generalisation of the first strike day at my MC. Because of this and it's content I was hauled over the coals for this and had a very worrying 10 days wondering if I would keep my job or not. The video and YouTube channel have been removed and subsequently I have but have been 'warned' by senior management in my division that an eye will be kept on me on the picket lines and inside work.

Please don't ask me to reveal my location or about the content of the video because someone in the video is still under a conduct on that score. All I can say is that my area rep, branch and div rep have been very very supportive of me and and my colleauges and I/we owe them loads for doing the background work for me/us in fixing the mess I created.

However...

This is now leading to being wound up to bits by floor management and feeling severely harassed and bullied by them too. Not the shift manager or above, but the WAM's. And I ain't the only one. Other colleauges of mine are facing the same too in an ultimate pressure in order for us to go unofficial. That won't happen! We have a good strong commeraderie on the floor and my brothers and sisters on that floor know better than to give the management, what the management want.

We (posties nationally) are stifling and thwarting the operations by taking legal strike action and it is working.

This is a public forum and people read these comments so in theory 'Joe & Josephine Public' who are not RM staff will read our threads and realise for themselves what we have had to put up with not only since this dispute started, but since L&C started running things. This can all be used to our advantages.

So please, be very careful what you do post anywhere. Of course opinions are opinions and it is up to you what you write, but we're in the middle of a national dispute and RM are looking to make examples.

I may edit this post yet as I will have to read it several times. If I do, then you understand why!!!

Keep up the fight brothers and sisters, but keep it clean and WE WILL prevail!!!

i belive if they use footage of you or someone you know they are breaking the law the only people who can use video evidence is the police if they use it against they are in breach of your human rights and as such can be subject of an offence under these laws

They're also otherwise unemployable people who came in as casuals or AG's and were made up to Managers wihin a short time, and think they are the business.

I've got to admit that in my short time with Royal Mail the managers IMO seem to be easily lead, will not question decisions from on high, need to be guided by senior posties and when they do stand up for themselves or think for themselves they seem to be sidelined and put back as a postie (a promotion in status if not pay) I say this through experience of a ex stand in manager in my office.

When it comes to my office, our managers (WAM's) are like the puppets on the end of a string. BUT, they take it upon themselves to go head strong, panic, cause hysteria and ultimately end up as pain in the backsides!!!

Simple as.

whoevers put that together is out to discredit posties the unfotunate thing is they will as you say tar all with the same brush although many should be taken in the context they were posted as a joke rather than serious but who's put them together and have they got permission to do that as i'm sure that the posters did not intend to have them displayed in that format and certainly not with such derogatary remarks about them is what been done legal ? will try to find out ......

seems a shame that r.m. management have nothing better then to snoop on here and start laying down there law. unfortunately the freedom of speech has long gone along with a lot of our rights as free citizens. the law abiding people are being watched 24/7 either by cctv, internet usage, credit card usage and store card usage. george orwell would never have dreamed this one up when he wrote 1984

Absolutely, I once tried to photograph vandals destroying our local neighbourhood and was advised by the police that I was infringing their human rights....................go figure!

Lower than a rattle snakes belly.... Some people in my MC have had threats and bullying... And some screw on screw......
