£20.07 supplement

I buy extra A/L to take me up to 6 weeks a year ( been employed for 15 years so should get 5 weeks i think) & I got £20.27 Delivery Supplement. Should we not all get £20.60 & anything else come off basic pay???

I too got £20.07 delivery supplement and in the Messages section it says NEW INCOME FUNDY PAYABLE FROM 7/06/10 NEW FUNRP PAYABLE 7/06/10 INCOME FUNDY CHANGED TO £13.92 I phoned wages and he said something about Early Shift Allowance Pensionable but too be honest I've no idea what he was going on about.

in all the documentation that i have seen about the delivery supplement it states it will be paid 52 weeks a year, i have never seen in the agreement that if you buy extra hols then you get less,
it is mentioned on the site in a work time listening doc and this was the first i have seen of it

i pay for extra leave and have got today £20-06

if someone can show me where it says in the agreement the it will be reduced if you buy extra leave then please do,
looks like i will be seeing the rep in the morning

With the loss of this and the gain of that in basic terms my gross has increased by £15.18. Unfortunately I used to get around £20 for d2d.
What a balls up. With the news today that the coalition are after privatisation I imagine that Billy and Dave will be looking for our support. They can whistle.

When you purchase leave your basic pay and regular allowances/supplements are all reduced, not just basic pay.

This is because, when you take the leave that you have purchased, your supplement will be paid on top of your basic, so as well as "saving up" a week and a half's leave across the rest of the year, you also need to save up the allowances and supplements for that time as well.

i do get the buying more hols then you need to pay for the weeks off so it is less, but the major point here is it says in the agreement it will be 52 weeks a year for all that qualify, at no time in the agreement does it state that you will get less if you purchase extra leave

also why is it being classed as an allowance when it's a supplement? are these not two different things? after all wording is everything, or am i being stupid?

is this another one of the "£400 for every employee" cock ups?

i thought that they had taken so long to get the right agreement, it seems now that a lot of detail is coming out that was never included in it and the membership never saw, can we have another vote then?

No, as stated, if you get a increase in wage then more needs to be taken to supplement it. It is true that it was not mentioned in the agreement 'per se'.

Thanks for your email. We are acutely aware that a number of groups of members have been paid lower amounts or not at all, contrary to what we believe was agreed at the time of the agreement. Those issues, including the reduction by 2% of the supplement to those members purchasing annual leave, have been raised with Royal Mail and are to be the subject of discussion at a top level meeting next week.

Please rest assured that the issue is in hand and further developments will be reported in due course

is that because I buy extra leave and they don't?
