Re: Delivery update
Our small office refused to do lapsing, we all just stayed out until our time was up then went home, why should we do extra work so managers can have a bigger bonus

Re: Delivery update
Agree with all the comments on here, and have pointed them out to management in my last SI, but they are still determined to push ahead with lapsing plans as well, though they are really nervous it has to be said! Must say think the whole thing is going to go belly up, too much all at once to expect people to cope with. Spoken to my Area rep about the concerns, particularly weight solutions and where are they, response was to make more bags and keep going back to box and then cut off, agree to a point, but here we go again expecting individuals to stand up to bullying managers and I thought the CWU was here to represent the members?! Having said that my atitude will be as some have said in my office, when finishing time comes it's home time and what doesn't get done gets left, but then the management at my office don't bother me, can't say the same for the majority of the members in my office.

we got told that a dom can not make you work over your time , so it should be optional like all overtime , whats your union rep say ?ggm2010 wrote:we've been lapsing in our office since January.......every day regardless. the DOM's answer is 'if you go over just claim it'................surely that defeats the object!!!!
